The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) controls all US airspace. Drone flights can be restricted for several reasons. To include: Controlled Airspace (Around Airports, Sports Stadiums, Military and Government Facilities) special permissions may be required, Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR’s), as well as Weather. All of which will be assessed prior to any flights. Flights may need to rescheduled with short notice due to these factors.
All flights are performed by a licensed FAA Part 107 pilot following strict safety protocols, including pre-flight inspections, weather assessments, and site risk evaluations. Visual line of sight is maintained at all times, and safety buffers are established to protect people and property. Coordination with onsite teams is completed prior to launch to ensure safe and efficient operations with minimal disruption.
All wildlife survey’s are done in accordance with State and Federal law.
Before any flight we require: land ownership, lease/permission verification. If leased, we will need landowners written permission for survey.
We do Not perform wildlife survey’s during any open hunting season
Before any flight: Landownership, lease agreement, hunting license, and tag will be verified. No flight will be conducted prior to those verifications.
If the animal is found, and is verified to be dead (at the discretion of the drone operator), then and only then will GPS coordinates be given to recover the animal.
The hunter is responsible for all retrieval activities, including gaining landowner permission if animal is located on a different property.
If it cannot be verified the animal is deceased, or the animal is still alive. No GPS coordinates will be given at that time. If the animal cannot be verified to be deceased or is still alive, we will return 1 time within a 24 hour window. If the animal still cannot be verified deceased or is still alive, GPS coordinates of the animals last known location will be given 25 hours after the last flight.
We reserve the right to deny/end service at any time. Any evidence of illegal activity, including attempting to pursue any animal imaged within 24 hours of that search, will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
